After the emergency situation (by the Council of Ministers) dropped, there will be no more restrictions in Bulgaria from April 1st, 2022. Therefore, the mask and distance requirement is ultimately canceled. Nevertheless, short-term changes can and must be expected.
Update:
The government also took back the entry requirements from EU countries at the end of May. This also means that there will no longer be any entry controls in Bulgaria. However, travelers must observe the airline's regulations. In some cases, the passengers must still wear masks or show proof of their valid protection. We encourage all people who attended EUDY GA to check voluntarily that they are tested negative to provide a health-safe area for everyone.
